When a candle is melted and put into a mold of different shapes, different shapes of candles are obtained. It is a process from solid to liquid and then to solid. Forging is just like the process of making flatbread. The dough is kneaded and pressed and put into molds to make products of different shapes. It is a process from solid to solid.
2. Casting is a molding, forging is slowly forming. As mentioned above, casting is to fill the cavity with molten liquid metal, which can be formed once after cooling, but it is easy to produce pores in the process of making parts; Forging is formed several times by extrusion at high temperatures, in which the grains in the workpiece can be refined.
